…on Saturdays you went for a walk of a different kind once again?
After the first successful experiment, the Municipal Theatre of Kavala is organizing for the second consecutive year the experiential workshop for teenagers “What if? Through practical exercises derived from the philosophy of physical theatre, with devised theatre techniques and guided by the principles of documentary theatre, and above all with the stories and dreams of the teenagers who will participate in the workshop as raw material, this year we will once again embark on a different journey to discover the therapeutic effect that theatre can have on our lives.
Taught by Marina Tselepi
Who it’s for: Teenagers aged 13-18 who want to try something new and be part of a dynamic, creative team. And because teams are magical, but need consistency and nurturing to be successful, teenagers who decide to join should think carefully.
When: Every Saturday from November 2023 to May 2024*.
Cost: 20€ per month.
On a first come, first served basis.
*The exact date and time will be decided in consultation with the resulting teen group at the first open introductory meeting to be held on Saturday 4 November 2023 at 12:00 at the Antigone Valakou Theatre.
