The performance |(All)ν, we leave behind <for a tomorrow that will never come…|, the third production of the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Kavala this year, will be presented aboard a boat on Monday 4 and Thursday 7 August at 18:00, as part of the 68th Philippi Festival.
For the desires left half-spoken, the words that never found a mouth to utter them, the glances that turned away.
For the things we did not live — and for all that we still can.
A performance about all we didn’t dare do.
Movement. Transition. Departure without destination.
A journey not always made to arrive, but to lose oneself a little. To meet oneself in a different phase, a different light, a different route.
The stage (and its world) becomes a fluid space, suspended somewhere between harbours, memories, and fantasies.
Phrases, texts and images from the life and work of Chronis Missios come to feed the core of the performance, to shed light on the unspoken, to stand beside all that was never said but endured.
And the performance, a gesture towards the unreachable.
Live music on deck by the Kalogerakia.
