DESCRIPTION

On Wednesday 2 July at 21:00, Konstantinos Vita, one of the most distinctive creators of the contemporary Greek music scene, comes to Kavala for an open-air concert with free admission, marking the start of this summer in the most meaningful and atmospheric way, as every year is marked by the Historic Festival.

With his characteristic sensitivity, blending electronic composition with poetry and introspection, K. Vita invites the audience on a musical journey filled with memories, sounds and images — an evening dedicated to the emotional power of music and to the human need for shared experience.

K. Vita is known for crafting sonic landscapes of rare beauty, while his poetry resembles a window into his inner world, coloured by a constant confessional impulse that tinges his spoken interludes. Incomplete songs like fleeting notes on paper, his own way of speaking a truth that only our soul can perceive.

Musically, we witness him moving between guitar and synthesisers — and it is precisely this duality that shapes the distinctive style of his contradictory sound. In this special concert, we will enjoy him alongside his beloved band, his musical companions, conspiring to transport us into a poetic world of sound.
