Creative writing workshop with Vasiliki Stroli

The founder of the model workshop “Reading for Pleasure – Creative Writing”, Ms Vasiliki Stroli, visits our city and, as part of the 68th Philippi Festival, sets up—on Monday 7 July at 6 p.m., beneath the shade of the trees in the Municipal Garden—a different kind of stall: an original marketplace that trades in words.

With a group of local teenagers as her accomplices, she dives into the work of Chronis Missios and invites passers-by to discover the writer within themselves — exchanging texts for original poems — and to experience the healing power that words can have in our lives.
