DESCRIPTION

Two of the most important and beloved artists of the Greek music scene, Nikos Portokaloglou and Giannis Kotsiras, meet on stage for the first time in a tour that promises to be unforgettable. On Wednesday 9 July at 21:30, they are coming to the Ancient Theatre of Philippi as part of the 68th Philippi Festival to offer us a magical evening.

Nikos Portokaloglou, a renowned songwriter with a rich body of work, and Giannis Kotsiras, one of the most prominent vocalists of his generation, join forces to create a unique musical experience full of emotion, energy and authenticity.

This collaboration marks a special artistic event, as the two performers, each with an extensive discography and a long-standing presence in Greek discography, come together to offer us unforgettable musical moments. From great hits that have left their mark on Greek music, to beloved songs that have accompanied generations of listeners, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a distinct musical journey, in a programme crafted with care and sincerity.

Joining them are the talented singer-songwriter Vyron Tsourapis and the charismatic young vocalist Andriana Achitzanova.

Entry to the theatre is not permitted after the performance has begun.

**Once again this year, a KTEL Kavala bus will be available to transport spectators to and from the Ancient Theatre of Philippi upon presentation of a valid ticket for the respective performance, along with a special fare of €4.00.

Departure from the KTEL Kavala station at 19:15 and return after the end of the performance.
