As part of the 66th Philippi Festival, The Municipal and Regional Theatre of Kavala presents on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 July at 21.15 and 22.30 at the 10th Primary School of Kavala the performance of its teenage workshop “Angerland or the last inhabitants of an old world”.
July 2023. The eve of the day that will change the world. A large meteorite is approaching Earth and when it meets it nothing will be the same. People are in turmoil: panic attacks, psychosomatic symptoms, violent outbursts, anger. A group of teenagers decide to spend the last day on earth together and banish everything that scares them. Invisible to most who -for years now- have bigger problems to solve, they make their usual backyard rendezvous -on a day unlike any other- to face the end together. The performance-presentation of the teenager’s workshop of the Theatre of Kavala introduces us to these unsung heroes who are used to living in limbo and who, for the first time, decide to become a little more visible, leaving everything that hurts them behind for good.

Admission is free (with tickets) for a limited number of seats.
